Classfull network statement for a network in the routing table Classfull mask on that network statement Auto-summary enabled For example, if the subnet in the routing table is 75.75.75.0 mask 255.255.255.0, and you configure network 75.0.0.0 under the router bgp command, and auto-summary is enabled, BGP introduces the classfull network 75.0.0.0 mask 255.0.0.0 in the BGP table. You may also have to reset your gateway to the factory defaults if you have forgotten your gateway user name or password.Note: Resetting your router to the factory defaults not only changes your router user name and password to the factory default values, but it also deletes all your home network settings. All your settings will be lost including network encryption information and any SSID information you have entered. The gateway user name and password will revert to the default of Admin as the user name and Password as the password.Your VersaLink 7500 gateway is now using the default settings for the network configuration

Previously, when IPv6 was working in San Francisco, Comcast wasn't using link-local default gateways, and there may have been some other technical differences. I changed the setting to allow incoming traffic as well.@EG, the modem is an SB6121 and the router an Apple Airport Extreme, both of which have supported IPv6 since the beginning of the rollout (and worked well in San Francisco)

networking - Wrong default gateway assigned - Server Fault

  http://serverfault.com/questions/589897/wrong-default-gateway-assigned
There are two IPs that my default gateway is randomly assigned: 192.168.1.254 (correct) 192.168.1.252 (incorrect) I don't know where the value of 192.168.1.252 comes from. Here is a correct ipconfig which helps me connect to Internet: IPv4 Address 192.168.1.100 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway 192.168.1.254 It happens so often that in the morning when I first turn on my computer, the Default Gateway was assigned as 192.168.1.252 so I could not connect to Internet and had to set a static Default Gateway myself

All of these services should be started, and their startup type should be automatic If a service is not running, open it's properties and check the dependencies. I've tried 2 different laptops with the modem, but it's still the same....in those cases, even the network doesn't show as connected, but in my laptop, at least the network shows as connected

In the Network Connection Details window, locate either the IPv4 Default Gateway or IPv6 Default Gateway under the Property column, depending on which network type you're using. Note: On most Windows 8 computers, your wired network connection is probably labeled Ethernet, while your wireless network connection is probably labeled Wi-Fi

If you're plugging your laptop directly into the cable modem then you should either be getting a private-range IP address or a public-range IP address, depending on which your cable company assigns to the client machines. If you have plugged a different laptop into this modem and it is able to properly connect to the internet then you may have a bad NIC on your current laptop or the NIC's drivers may not be loaded properly

I've executed them from unprivileged user accounts as well as administrator accouts and on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows; the scripts worked in all cases. After seeing your message I downloaded them through the links I provided and tried them on two more Windows 7 professional systems, another SBS 2003 server, and a Windows 7 Home Premium system as well as an XP Professional system that wasn't a VM
