Outlook, Multiple Accounts and the Default Account
I am using Outlook for Mac 2011 and I have nearly the identical problem as Joe Fucito (needing to separate my business and personal emails), but in my case I had both accounts dump into the same .pst file. then aftere installation of XP and updating the OS tried to restore the Outlook.pst after configuring an account and replacing the Outlook.pst by the backup. Check to see if the size of the .pst or .ost file currently used by Outlook is approaching the limit set by the file type that was discovered in step 5 above. If the file is Unicode and is hitting the limit, steps must be taken to shrink the .pst or .ost file such as archiving old items or deleting unnecessary items
Find the Microsoft Outlook Temporary OLK folder
Are you not able to open any .jpeg files or do you have problems only when opening inside outlook? The first thing I would try either way is to delete the outlook OLK folder. In this scenario, the attachment will remain in the Outlook Temporary folder indefinitely since Outlook normally deletes these files when you close the document properly
