Hank 5 years ago i have dark screen, without backlight, do i need the inverter board and the inverter cable? Where is the inverter board located? on the lcd backside? or at the next to logic board? Powerbook Medic 5 years ago @Dave - You usually only get that error in Apple Hardware Test in certain machines. Is there another way to test the cabling? Powerbook Medic 4 years ago @Wolfinstein - if you still have the original cracked LCD and it was at least partially viewable, I would try reinstalling that to see if the snowed out issue remains

Note: place suction cup at bottom of phone near home button to avoid accidentally pulling out wires at top of phone. I noticed you did it with the iPhone ( which has screws) so how do you do it with by iPod? the screen is amazing and even though they only made the screen a half inch larger it makes a difference and I like that it is still easily held in one hand making the screen longer and not wider is a good innovation. Everything else came out of a customer returned unit (so basically they take the return, pop off the outside, pop the guts into a new outside and add a fresh battery. I promptly went to the nearest Apple store, and talked to one of the guys with the headsets who took an appointment to the Genius Bar for me 30 minutes later
