Reply 0 Tracy Guest March 9, 2012 3:46 pm Like David we mostly use the soda stream for soda water, but I make six or eight liters of homemade lemon cordial when the lemon tree is loaded and that's great with fizzy water (and a dash of gin)
SodaStream Source Home Soda Maker Starter Kit, Red - Walmart.com
If you sell your product or give it to someone as a gift, your Product Care Plan and all of its benefits are fully transferable to the new owner, so it maintains its value. How the plan works:Add the Product Care Plan to your shopping cart. It also comes with one reusable bottle (the bottle is shipped in the carbonation portion of the unit so it is not initially visible when you open the package
In fact it is far superioor than the air you use from a normal compressor which takes moisture from the atmosphere and stuffs it through your equipment. My First Two Months with the SodaStream Genesis Home Seltzer Maker - Pete Brown's 10rem.net
For a while, I kicked around either purchasing a commercial seltzer water maker like you might find at a bar, or building one of my own out of a CO2 tank, a regulator and whatnot. As you can imagine, the cost of purchasing all that seltzer, plus lugging all the cans into the house, not to mention the waste of all those cans (yes, we recycle, but still) weighs heavily
But SodaReam customer arguments supporting the economics of SodaReam ownership are desperate attempts to console themselves after having made an unwise purchase. However, there are other ways to decrease your cost per liter: Buy a SodaMod, which allows you to attach a paintball CO2 tank which is much more cheaply filled than what SodaStream charges
Many of you have found and switched to the money-saving joy of the SodaStream system, a simple device that allows you to make carbonated sodas right in your own home without having to run to the store. If making your own syrups sounds daunting, but you still want that homemade taste, you could try Pittsburgh Soda Pop, a company that specializes in making tasty syrups
SodaMod Sodastream CO2 Refill Paintball Tank Adapter
The Sodastream unit with the SodaMod Sodastream paintball adapter will look and perform the same as the stock SodaStream, while saving you time and money. Easy to Use Adjustable- Works with all standard CO2 paintball tanks with pin valves Includes the Allen key to adjust the unit High Quality Construction No parts to wear out No Seals to leak Made with "lead free" brass* Engineered and Made in the USA *The Sodamod Sodastream refill adapter is machined from "lead free" brass (as defined by the state of California, which has established a safe limit for drinking faucet applications)
Looking at the website, it seems that the carbonators are aluminum gas canisters, is that correct? I cannot determine what type of valve they have, so my suggestions may not be valid. The mix ratio is different than the SodaStream syrups, so it takes some doing; I have to pour out about 6.75 ounces of the charged water, then fill to the line with the real syrup
We help you realize the savings you initially hoped to make with your investment! In addition, they can be a pain to work with, wasting CO2 and causing issues with too much or too little carbonation
