The mass originally in question remained the same size after the FNA, although my lymph node (which I assumed was not attached) has nearly doubled in size in 2 weeks, to the point where you can barely feel the hard mass. If you do receive a diagnosis of lymphoma please remember that so many of them are so highly treatable and stages really don't matter much with the bulk of them either, not like with solid cancer tumours
Got a biopsy done and it was the worst experience ever! Couldnt stop gagging and got sick all over the place They didnt get enough to do all the tests so i thought for sure they would order another test( not that I want it) and they didnt? Ive had Laryngitus 4 times in the past 3 months. Despite being told by 2 doctors its normal to feel lymph nodes as long as there not bigger than 1cm and hard..........i always thought feeling them meant that they were enlarged but this is not the case
Hi thereI went back to a Private Doctor today as I have not been able to relax about this and she has been able to feel two nodes in my left armpit and one in the right.She said that she wants to get them ultrasounded just to make sure.Does this mean that she definitely thinks that I have got some form of malignancy? Why else would she be able to feel armpit lymph nodes as well as several shotty nodes around. Just explain that you are extremely worried about this and would like to know for sure what it is so that you can forget about and go on with your life
After that I went back to my gp, she checked all other nodes and the ones in my groin and she ordered more bloods which have again come back fine, she has referred me for a biopsy but on a non urgent basis with a 6 week wait for an appointment. After that I was still feeling bad but the doctor said the infection was gone, and that it was a matter of time for my lymph nodes to go back to normal. My lastest tests showed a lot of allergens in my blood (if that makes any sense) so the doctor said that could be one cause, but she also said I should be tested for Lyme Disease and Lymphoma (finally) I'll be going tomorrow morning

I'm not very good at explaining this, but I'll try my best.So, I have been feeling a bump about half an inch below my left ear (straight down from where you put an earring on) and kind of between my jaw (see I'm very bad at explaining but hope you understand), and every time i touch it i feel pain.
