No one buys a LC9, LCP or Shield as their idea of the ultimate gun or favorite pistol of all time with all the ultimate features and construction that ones hear could ever desire. If the Shield is targeting the market previously dominated by the Ruger LC9, then Smith has succeeded in producing a very competitive pistol for a nearly identical list price

Oh, and to the naysayers of .380, you ballistic masters of the universe, I challenge you to let me shoot you with 3 rounds of .380 from 15 yards from my Bersa. Fred November 18, 2014 at 08:55 The magazine is still straight, so the gun is got to be noticeably wider than any of the other micro .380s, regardless of the curve (actually because of the curve)

What can I do to prevent this in the future? If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware. If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices

Anna Lapping says: January 10, 2014 at 12:53 pm Dawn, as a gun store owner, I would suggest that you ask a store owner to special order a magazine specifically made for your gun. (I think this is one area where guys screw up a lot when it comes to the women in their lives.) Get one that feels comfortable in your hand when you are holding it and then learn the gun

Bodyguard 380 trigger pull

It was a bad quality video but he really did a complete stripping and the spring you are referring to he cut in half and than stretched it out to the original size, making it less of a HARD pull. The one proviso is that it's always possible that your trigger actually has a problem that makes the pull harder than normal (it can't be longer, since it's designed to fire only after being pulled almost all the way to the trigger guard)

NEW BODYGUARD 380 TRIGGER KIT

Had some light strikes so bought the springs and now waiting for a sight pusher tool to arrive to install the test of the springs so I can try it again. I'd have to break developed habits using this gun (only with this gun), likeThe white knuckle grip on all fingers but the index (while the goal is not a shotgun trigger yank, I imagine under duress it will be so my muscle memory is focused on keeping the thing on target) The instruction manual addressed trigger staging (oh so easy once you experience the resistance drop near the break)

I did install the Galloway Precision trigger kit and highly recommend that if you want the most out of this little gem but tight groups at 20 to 30' are the norm. It was a booger to just get it to turn on! I'm not sure how must good this will actually do in an urgent situation...I called Smith and Wesson and they wanted the lazersight back for a replacement

What is the best ankle holster for the BG with lazer? Another question is which is the best round to use for stopping power when using it for personal protection? Thanks again for your opinions. Does anyone make a magazines that holds more bullets and therefore would be longer? Reply Fred says: December 17, 2012 at 4:40 am There are so many posts about the functionality of the smith and wesson Body Guard 380

But, keeping the BG clean is the big thing! Look for a mag with more capacity and a finger extension this will make your BG shoot better and also will fit most peoples hands better. I thought perhaps it was because it was a smaller weapon and my thumb was accidentally striking the magazine release so I gave it to my rangemaster, who also experienced the malfunction
