If I hadn't found one, I probably would've turned to eBay or Amazon. answer 2 Hello the D3100 does not come with a memory card you have to buy your own on the side and the 30min video saves in one whole part answered 4 years, 3 months ago by Anonymous 4 years, 3 months ago 0points0out of 0found this answer helpful

Basically the first option is contrast, the second is about location identity, but there can be elements of both either way.Note, however, that wind will come into play. Take a six second (or whatever you think your average exposure will be) before the fireworks start with the lens cap on, and another at the end of the fireworks

The low-light sensitivity is one area in which technology is moving forward rapidly as professional photographers have pushed manufacturers toward this objective. The low f-stop of 3.5 allows lots of light, whereas a high f-stop like 11 or 22 would not allow much light to get to the sensor and produces a darker image

Nikon D5000 review - CNET

I generally like the interactive displays, but the D5000's LCD is a bit difficult to see in sunlight, which made changing settings somewhat problematic. Nikon switches to a CMOS sensor instead of the CCD it's been using in its entry-level models, in this case, the same 12.3-megapixel version that's in the D90
Photography Basics: Shutter Speed

The motion of the subject still needs to be clearly conveyed so that it does not look like they are simply hanging in mid-air when they are performing a wild jump, or they are leaning awkwardly when, in fact, they are in an all-out sprint. We are having beautiful sunsets this year can you give me some explanation why? the faster the shutter speed the redder the sky and less of the other colors. Is there some quirk in the visible light spectrum that digital cameras are moving towards the infrared zone

You may also see the effect of poor low-light autofocus in some of these shots, although we use a different test setup to check autofocus performance more directly. As mentioned above, the salt grains (and reflections of the studio lights) in the salt mill are examples of fairly subtle highlight detail that cameras' anti-noise processing sometimes obliterate

Live view can be used for still image capture and must be used for movie capture, but if the monitor had a higher resolution it would be easier to confirm focus using the monitor. My experience with the D5000 suggests the camera is prone to slight underexposure in difficult, high contrast situations in order to preserve highlight details

Be aware of one thing though: after the auto meter-off delay specified in Custom Function 'c2', the camera goes into a sort of sleep mode, in which you cannot set the shutter speed, the f-number or indeed the active AF point until you half-press the shutter release button to wake the camera fully up. Two warning signs - telling you that the battery is running low or you have forgotten to insert a memory card - may also appear in the form of overlaid icons when appropriate

This display on the INFO panel is more useful as where you can look without needing to hold the D5000 to your eye to preset this control with the top button. Normal and SLOW do the same thing in S and M exposure modes, since you or the camera may select any shutter speed in these modes regardless of flash sync

Best Photo Quality at the Cheapest Price Possible? As I mentioned earlier, for most applications, in good light, the quality from an entry level DSLR will rival that of their more expensive counterparts. Alec August 15, 2013 12:55 am Hi Sean, the only thing that is missing here for me (who normally buys new cameras for my wife!) is the supported media formats between cameras

Oddly, however, the Nikon D5000 with the kit lens really chokes on our Sunlight test, dramatically underexposing the shot, requiring a +2.0 EV adjustment to expose the image properly. Adding D-Movie mode and an articulating LCD gives the Nikon D5000 two more excellent selling points that can actually serve consumer and enthusiast photographers well
Getting Started: How to Change a D-SLR Lens from Nikon
http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Learn-And-Explore/Article/g7jz8rrr/getting-started-how-to-change-a-d-slr-lens.html
Again, make sure you turn the camera's power off before changing the lens as the image sensor itself generates a static electric charge that can attract dust. Nikon has consistently utilized the same mount without changing its basic structure, even as other SLR camera manufacturers found it necessary to alter their lens mounts in response to changing technologies, such as autofocus compatibility and digitalization

You need a second hand to hit the replay button (you don't need a second hand to play right after you shoot), and need a second hand to delete pictures or get into the menus. You can flip it all around, and even flip it closed for protection and so you can just shoot like a film camera, without the distraction of looking at the LCD after every shot
