DavidP206 months agoReplyThe most reliable method to recover all important data from a dead external hard disk drive is by using a data recovery specialist called Remo Recover. andy707073 years agoReplyThere really isn't much you can do unless it's simply corrupted, but if it is running hot, crashing or clicking, it's a hardware failure and it's pretty much dead

With this being said the firmware out today has the latest and best stealth features, and if you are following my online tutorial for proper backup procedures your chances of your console being banned are extremely low using the firmware mod. If you are playing on Xbox Live with a modded system it is a really good idea to purchase one of our 0800 ripping drives as these drives will make an exact replica of your 360 game

Its easy in the sense all you have to do is run an official recovery cd on your XDK and its upgraded, the hard bit is getting hold of a recovery as people generally do not share them. any ideas ? should i use other program along with yours ? (abgx is only to make games stealth right ? i cannot connect to live so i only really care for just launching games locally) and the second question would be - if i get Fallout 3 to launch, how should i copy it to my hard drive ? it has 2 dvds so im not sure..

Optional step: Go on to another PC on your network and see if you can access the shared folder on the network using the username and password you setup earlier. Is is possible to copy game data from a disk to the hard drive? - Xbox 360 Answers for Xbox 360 - GameFAQs

However, if you choose to play the game from the Hard Disk the Xbox360 really does do just that. One thing to note: if a game spans multiple disks (Blue Dragon comes to mind) after copying the second or third disks my experience has been that the validation requires the same disk. Silverbolt94 does an excellent job of explaining how to do this. The Xbox360 implements a crude form of copyright protection by requiring the game disk be in the console when the game is launched

I am beginning to run out of space on my 2TB and found a 4TB 3.0 portable hard drive on the low so decided to give it a shot and would return if it didn't work.At first I could not get it to work - trying many different combos of formats, partition types and partition styles to no avail. I finally found a program that allowed me to change convert to FAT32 and change the cluster size (Windows does this but you cannot change the cluster size to 32 Kb)
