IE : Unable to download * from *. Unable to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found - Stack Overflow
Obviously I did not want a solution done at client machine so all I did was just delete the "Pragma" parameter from the header and it started working nicely. So instead of falling back to private (which allows certain caching and might not fit with your security needs) use: Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate When specified in that exact order - first no-store THEN no-cache - IE8 will allow the file download without error
asp.net - Internet Explorer 8 timeout too quick on page POSTs - Stack Overflow
Is there anything that should be done in the aspx page to tell IE to wait a bit longer? I thought I had read that the default timeout supposed to be 90 seconds or something for browsers. It isn't a connection problem; everything works fine in Firefox, Chrome and even IE7; I have tried with add-ons disabled and resetting IE settings, still happens
Troubleshooting SSL related issues (Server Certificate) : The Official Microsoft IIS Site
The MS12-006 update implements a new behavior in schannel.dll, which sends an extra record while using a common SSL chained-block cipher, when clients request that behavior. Scenario 4 By now we are sure that we have a proper working certificate installed on the website and there is no other process using the SSL port for this website
This is what happens between a browser that does not have the TLS 1.0 option enabled when it connects to your server that only supports TLS 1.0 communications. I am not going to focus so much on why the problem happens (that's another several articles in and of itself), but how to implement IE conditional statements, and when to use them
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage : The Official Microsoft IIS Forums
- The issue is not related to the servers as we could debug it sometimes but the page display the error before the code finish executing! - Creating new accounts for users have the issue is not an option
SSL - Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage : The Official Microsoft IIS Forums
Yeah right!!! We have the new .net version of the site in a virtual directory off the main site running on what I think is IIS 5, but it could be 6, (how do I check the version of IIS) but I don't think that the version of IIS is the problem here
